Professional Development with TWFMP
The Worcester Family Mediation Practice, recognising that is it difficult for Family Dispute Resolution professionals to access relevant training events to meet SRA and FMC requirements without travelling to London, has established a training programme of courses and workshops held in Worcestershire.
Events for 2015 include:
Tuesday 20th October 2015 at The Wishing Well, St John's Street, Bromsgrove, B61 8QY
Annual Update for Family Layers and Mediators with Professors Neil Robinson and Chris Barton
Only £100 plus VAT
AIMS: To equip family lawyers and mediators with the knowledge and resources to develop and manage their practices in an effective and client-centred way following the changes in the delivery of family justice from April 2014 onwards To provide an opportunity for other interested professionals and students to participate at low cost in multi-disciplinary learning and discussion about the current opportunities in family justice.
In addition to our core components of:
• Children Law and Practice – including an emphasis on “The Voice of the Child” - and
• Financial Update including Cohabitation
We will be discussing together these two ongoing themes
• Redefining Family Justice and Mediation – a year on, have our practices indeed been redefined by/ within the “new” Family Justice System?
• The FMC Standards Project – from January 2015 have we redefined ourselves, and in what ways? How do we move from Standards to Practice?
As always we will give both the definitive information and the space to work out how they affect you and your clients
Call Kirsty Drew on 01905 730640 or send a contact form for more details and a booking form.
